Hello everyone, do you know who I am? No!! oky! Let’s go, my name is Madjid CHIBANE I’m 27 years old I'm from two beautiful cities called Algiers and Bejaia, situated in Algeria. Now I’m living in New York City enjoying my new life here as I did it everywhere I go.

I am a student and an English learner, since 10 months I got a new language in my life that I’m using it right now and feel how it could be helpful and wonderful to use it.

I am a Graphic Designer and Printer Operator,  I studied Arts and graphic industries at the national institute. I do like my specialty that gives me everyday new tricks.

I am an adventurer,  I know that if  I get a chance I’ll discover and visit all places around the world, as I have done in my country being in many different places during the days of the weekend.

I am a guitar player, usually in my free time I take my guitar and play some musical pieces. I listen all genre of music around me (classical music, jazz, rock, pop, kabyle music,…etc).

I am a naturalist, I always liked being in a place that has not construction. Surrounded  by green, yellow and blue colors. Its amazing to be there to feel the natural atmosphere and force.

I am an internet user, honestly, I cannot live without the internet. It is the way to make me updated by using different programs and tools.

  2. Hello Hakim,
First, I know what's this JUST DO IT. RUNNING! means for you and for us that's why started my introduction and integration here on this blog. As you know, English is something new in my life! did you remember the first day when we meet at Mahmoud's house planning to teach me English. I remember, that I know just a few of few disorder words in English. it's happened on 28th of May 2012 and you told me: "Madjid! so, you wanna learn English, Right?" I answered with will. "Of course, I do" then the JUST DO IT. RUNNING!'s story has been started. Thanks to you, who gives me the real meaning of this wonderful language that I'm still using it everywhere I go. Heeeey without forget Mr. Eric, who is my English Teacher here in NYC, Thanks a lot Eric with your English classes I still feel that I am in Bejaia taking the same class, even that's not the same 100% but I do like the method so so much. we learn with a funny, discover, technology, and serious ways. Thanks Eric.
Anyway, I hope that every student can be capable to read, write, listen, speak fluently, currently without obstacle. this is the wishes of every English student.
Students, you need just one thing to improve this and of course its "JUST DO IT. RUNNING!"

  3. Hello Madjid,

Let me start this comment like this:" You Know, I know and nobody knows what we both know about JUST DO IT RUNNING". Second, the video is extremely WONDERFUL and I love your voice and the way you told your story. Listening to your voice, I just got back to that day when we met at Mahmoud's house....lol. You were sitting on the sofa talking with Mahmoud's father about stuff while I was chatting with Mahmoud near the table full of DELICIOUS FOOD...lol! I do love the video because of the song "ANOTHER RAINBOW" by Chris de Burgh. WE USED TO LISTEN to it a lot and you LOVED IT and still love it so much. It starts like this:"Breaking bread and drinking wine; Talking deep into the night Just dreaming dreams; Making plans forever; We have been the best of friends; And always said since way back when We'd change the world; With mad ideas together;Another rainbow to follow with you; Another dream that may never come true; It is better to have tried in vain than never try at all; Another rainbow where gold may fall" Very , very beautiful. We spent DELICIOUSLY WONDERFUL MOMENTS that I will never FORGET. Those moments with Mahmoud and Chichi will never be lived again. We just were ourselves and lived our lives to the fullest. IT was pure JOY...! ONly memories can take us back again! It was joy of living without harming anybody. it was the JUST-DO-IT-RUNNING happiness, friendship, life, English...etc. Madjid? I do like your last sentence when you said:" Students, you just need one thing to improve this and of course it's "JUST DO IT RUNNING!"

I am still crying with joy and happiness while writing this comment. Just no one can understand that PURE JOY. Madjid? " You know, I know and I hope everybody will know all what we both know related to JUST DO IT RUNNING.

Please, take good care of yourself.

  4. ...to be continued?!? For how long? I can't wait that long! I need more Madjid posts NOW!

    A few things-

Your writing: This is a wonderful improvement from the earlier draft I saw. The draft was good, but this is clear, concise, emphatic! I learned a lot about you.

Your photos: Were those new photos in Central Park? Your images are a wonderful complement to your story.

Your narration: You've learned a lot recording your voice. You convey so much personality in your speaking, and honestly, I understood the story in a new way listening to you.

Your video: I have been anticipating this video for a while, and it was well worth the wait.

The comments here (from Madjid and Hakim): I have been reading the updates of these comments each day. It really is like a poem of friendship. Thank you for inspiring and sharing such wonderful moments here!

  5. Hello Eric,

What have you been up to?

Let me tell you that your comment is deliciously sweet...lol. I have read it many times because it is full of motivation and life. Reading it, It has given me a lot of pleasure and willingness to do my best to develop this blog. I do blieve from the bottom of my heart that this space is an excellent resource for students and teachers alike. Certainly, it is going to build students' self-esteem and develop new language skills or reinforce skills already mastered in all areas. With all these fun posts and surprising activities, students will be motivated, challenged and inspired in their learning process.

Equally important, I can share things here just to express myself for our students, especially the efficient games and activities that I have created and used during my career as an EFL teacher. Activities that are intended to get students to take initiative and be more involved in the classroom.

Now, with you, as an ESL teacher in New York, you have shown me new horizons that I need to go beyond their boundaries and fly over their skies to get astonishing results and develop up-to-date techniques for a better tomorrow.

Again, thanks a million, Eric, for everything you have done. Yes, you were born to be a teacher and I wish you the very best to achieve your attainable goals.
